About Maria Short

Maria Short exhibits and sells her self directed work nationally, is a part time University Lecturer in Photography and has been photographing weddings for sixteen years.

"It has been a joy to see the general style of wedding photography change course over the past few years. I have always felt that weddings offer enormous potential for making really interesting and exciting imagery. I was fortunate to train with a forward thinking photographer in the late 1980's and then went on to complete both a BA (Hons) and an MA degree at University. That training, combined with the benefits of teaching in a dynamic learning environment has influenced my approach significantly."
